The September 16, 2020 Centreville Planning Commission meeting was called to order at7:00 p.m. by Kara Voight,
Chair, in the Liberty Building, second floor meeting room. The following members and staff were present: Kara Voight,
Chair; Pat Fox, Secretary; Vachel Downes, Joseph Cichocki and Patricia Cipriano, Members; Tim McCluskey, Town
Council Member; Steve Walls, Town Manager; Chris Jakubiak, Town Planner; Sharon VanEmburgh, Town Attomey; and
Betty Jean Hall, Administrative Assistant.
Review of Minutes from Previous Meetings

Ms. Voight moved to approve the August 19,2020 Planning Commission meeting minutes, as presented. Ms
Fox seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

a Housing Growth: Planned housing growth coordinated with water and sewer. Promote infilling of
vacant lots, tracts and rehabbing existing houses. Promote a variety of housing types in each new
neighborhood. Promote quality housing that is affordable to low-and-moderate income households
and seniors throughout the Town.

Institutional uses. Walkable. Interconnected with open spaces and with streets.

Council Member Report
r
Mr. McCluskey reported that the Town of Centreville's new Police Chief, Joe Saboury was sworn in on August
18. The Women's Museum that started at the Bloomfield Farm will be taking up residence at the Turpins Farm. As
of right now the code does not permit museums in residential districts. Once seated, the new Town Council will be
discussing a text amendment for consideration later this fall.
Adiournment
There being no further business, Mr. Cichocki moved to adjourn the September 16,2020 Planning Commission
meeting. Ms. Fox seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 8:58 p.m.
