MINUTES
The August 19,2020 Centreville Planning Commission meeting was called to order at7:00 p.m. by Kara Voight, Chair, in
the Liberly Building, second floor meeting room. The following members and staff were present: Kara Voight, Chair;
Darren Brown, Vice Chair; Pat Fox, Secretary; Joseph Cichocki and Patricia Cipriano, Members; Steve Walls, Town
Manager; Chris Jakubiak, Town Planner; and Beffy Jean Hall, Administrative Assistant.

Ms. Fox moved to approve the June 24,2020 Planning Commission meeting minutes as amended. Mr
Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

Old Business - Chris Jakubiak. Town Planner

Mr. Jakubiak provided and reviewed an outline of the Centreville Community Plan.

Public meetings, surveys, e-mail blasts and billing inserts should be utilized to reach the residents.

Waiting until2022 to submit the plan would have the benefit of newly published census data.

Chapters one and two were reviewed. Minor grammatical and spelling changes were discussed. It was also
suggested to incorporate chapter two into chapter one as a guide ofhow to better understand the plan.
