TOWN COUNCIL OF CENTREVILLE AMENDED RESOLUTION 08-2023 A RESOLUTION FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING CERTAIN FINES TO BE PAID TO THE TOWN OF CENTREVILLE FOR MUNICIPAL INFRACTIONS PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY SET FORTH IN THE TOWN OF CENTREVILLE CHARTER AND CODE OF THE TOWN OF CENTREVILLE, AND ALL MATTERS RELATING TO SAID FINES. WHEREAS, §1-14 of the Code of the Town provides that fines for municipal infractions shall be set by the Town Council by Resolution; and WHEREAS, this Resolution is intended by the Town Council of Centreville to replace any fines contained in other resolutions that conflict with the amounts included in this Resolution; and WHEREAS, all provisions contained in other Resolutions not changed by this Resolution shall remain as originally approved by the adoption of their respective Resolutions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of Centreville that the fines for municipal infractions shall be as follows: Class A Municipal Infraction: From $100 for first offense; From $200 for each subsequent offense Class B Municipal Infraction: From $500 for first offense; From $1,000 for each subsequent offense Class C Municipal Infraction: From $20 for first offense; From$50 for second offense; From $100 for each subsequent offense READ AND PASSED THIS day of _____________, 2023. BY ORDER: We hereby certify that Resolution Number ______________________ is true and correct and duly adopted by the Town Council of Centreville, Maryland.
