BOARD OF APPEALS OF
QUEEN ANNE’S COUNTY
The following applications have been made under §18:1 and §14.1 of the Code of Public
Laws of Queen Anne’s County requesting the relief set forth below. Tke notice that these
applications shall be considered at a public hearing on Wednesday, the 18th day of March,
2026, at the times designated below, in the office of the Board of Appeals, 110 Vincit St.,
Centreville, MD 21617.

Requesting: variances from § 14:3-42A, §14:3-42B, and §14:3-41C of the Floodplain
Management Ordinance to permit an existing structure to be raised 5.56 ft which is 1.44 ft
below the flood protection elevation of 7 ft (structure will remain above the base flood
elevation of 5 ft and only the enclosures below the 5.56 ft would be compliant with section
14:3-41C). The subject property is located at 433 Kent Narrows Way near Grasonville, MD in the
5th Election District and is located in the Waterfront Village Center (WVC) Zoning District and
Critical Area Intensely Development Area (IDA).
