The County Commissioners of Queen Anne’s County met this date pursuant to its last
adjournment and there were present:
James J. Moran
Jack N. Wilson, Jr.
Patrick McLaughlin
Philip L. Dumenil
Christopher M. Corchiarino
BUDGET WORK SESSION I:
The Board, along with Mr. Jeff Rank, Director, Mrs. Karen Rodgers, Budget Analyst, of
Budget and Finance along with Mr. Todd Mohn, County Administrator and Mrs. Stephanie
Jarrell, Executive Assistant to the County Commissioners and Administrator reviewed the
proposed FY2027 Budget and met with the following departments:
 Dr. Matthew Kibler, Superintendent, Queen Anne’s County Board of Education
 Ms. Janet Salazar, Director, Queen Anne’s County Library
 Mr. Scott Haas, Director, Department of Emergency Services
 Sheriff Hofmann, Sheriff’s Office
On a motion made by Commissioner Dumenil, seconded by Commissioner McLaughlin,
the Board unanimously agreed to fund Paramedic I for the 7th Unit, EMT I for the 7th Unit and
the Operating Costs for 7th Unit for the Department of Emergency Services.
As part of the motion, Commissioner Dumenil, Commissioner Moran, Commissioner
Wilson, Commissioner Corchiarino and Commissioner McLaughlin asked questions and/or made
comments on this topic.
