Park Advisory Board meeting on February 1, 2022: members approved the January 4 minutes and reviewed project updates including Wharf Park construction (five of six electric towers installed; pavilion columns delivered with concrete work to start when temperatures permit; a handicapped picnic table planned; police grant-funded surveillance; consideration of nonskid surfaces and signage for the boardwalk; trees planned for Arbor Day). The board also discussed a rentable recreation kit idea, confirmed a Dog Park recommendation was emailed to the Council liaison, and noted the Chair will present an estimate to rough out town trails (including Millstream Trail and master-plan trail extensions) to the Town Council on February 4; there were no citizen comments or appearances and the meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m.
