These are the minutes of the Centreville Planning Commission meeting on June 24, 2020, which addressed two zoning variance requests, an informal review of a potential new Queen Anne’s County Board of Education building, and the election of commission officers. The commission approved prior meeting minutes, recommended a favorable variance for a new house at 107 Holton Street with an aggregate side-yard of 8 feet (offsets of 5 ft and 3 ft), advised the Board of Appeals that the 250 Heritage Way screen porch/deck variance would not be inconsistent with the community plan, elected Kara Voight as Chair, Darren Brown as Vice Chair and Pat Fox as Secretary, noted work sessions are on hold due to COVID-19, and heard that Council Member Josh Shonts resigned effective July 10.
