These are the minutes of the Centreville Planning Commission meeting on September 15, 2021; commissioners approved the August 18 minutes, forwarded favorable recommendations to Town Council for Ordinance 12-2021 (Chapter 170 zoning text amendments) and Ordinance 13-2021 (Chapter 138 zoning text amendment changing minimum sidewalk width from four to five feet), and were asked to review the first 40 pages of the Comprehensive Plan working draft. The commission also reviewed an informal tentative sketch plan for the 60-acre Turpin Farms (proposed 169 residential units including 131 single-family and 38 townhomes, 77 alley-loaded cottage lots, protected family cemetery, neighborhood greens/pocket parks, possible PUD and HOA), heard one citizen comment from Steve Layden, and received a council report that Charles "Chip" Koogle was approved as the new Town Manager and will begin shadowing on September 28.
