Planning Commission — 2022-03-16

The March 16, 2022 Centreville Planning Commission meeting approved prior meeting minutes, swore in Wendy Emerson as an alternate, and elected Kara Voight as Chair, Pat Fox as Vice Chair, and Tim Zuella as Secretary following the chair’s resignation. The Commission discussed a growth allocation request for the Carter Farm to reclassify 40 acres from Limited Development Area (LDA) to Intensely Developed Area (IDA) and asked the Town Planner for a high-resolution Critical Area map; they also continued work on the Comprehensive Plan and heard citizen comments about a full-time zoning administrator and a development moratorium, while Council reported consideration of a moratorium on wastewater allocation and plans to upgrade the wastewater treatment plant.
