Planning Commission — 2022-05-18

At the May 18, 2022 Centreville Planning Commission meeting the Commission approved prior minutes, administered oaths to three members (terms to April 2027), elected officers (Kara Voight – Chair; Tim Zuella – Vice Chair; Mitchell Delaney – Secretary), and discussed Ordinance 07-2022, a zoning text amendment on convenience stores. The ordinance drew multiple public comments in opposition while representatives for Royal Farms and Coursevall LLC described proposed zoning changes to allow larger convenience stores (Central Business District limited to 2,000 sq ft; C-2, C-3 and PBD up to 5,500 sq ft with C-2 by special exception); miscellaneous items included the April 2022 approved building permits list and a Planning Commission memo on growth allocation.
