The Centreville Planning Commission meeting on June 15, 2022 approved the May 18 (as amended) and June 1 minutes, recorded no citizen comments, and directed that item #5 be changed to “yes” on the 2021 Annual Report letter before submission to the Maryland Department of Planning. The Commission discussed Comprehensive Plan Chapter III (Municipal Growth), made a typographical change to reference the roughly 220‑acre former “County Business Park” west of US 301/MD 304, reviewed annexation eligibility, growth allocation and water/sewer authority, and requested evaluation of three growth scenarios and their impacts on schools, traffic (including Rt. 213), and emergency services; the July 6 work session was canceled.
