Planning Commission — 2022-08-17

The Planning Commission meeting reviewed Draft Chapter VI (Land Use) of the Comprehensive Plan with updated GIS-based maps, approved the July 20, 2022 minutes, requested the Future Land Use map change the Chesterfield Avenue PUD designation to TND (and discussed a possible zoning map amendment replacing TND with R-2 if density is a concern), asked for an acronym list in the plan, set the draft for public review by September 28 and scheduled a public workshop for October 5, and planned to review Chapter VII (Transportation) next meeting. The Town Council report covered ongoing negotiations about Growth Allocation for the Carter Farm development, anticipated clarity on wastewater treatment plant funding, discussion of potentially extending sewer to White Marsh Park, upcoming paving of Rt. 213 from the Millstream bridge to Rt. 301, and announced the October 3 Town Council election candidates.
