A Planning Commission work session on the Draft Comprehensive Plan where members reviewed citizen feedback and debated growth area densities, annexation at the Rt. 213 & 301 intersection, and prioritizing growth along the Rt. 304 corridor (with suggested healthcare and technology uses). They raised sewer/wastewater and EDU requirements for annexation, noted a mismatch between housing totals in Table 2 and Figure 5, reported a lack of affordable apartments, and agreed to lower the potential housing numbers and simplify/rework PUD language to allow denser development and remove barriers to accessory dwelling units.
