Planning Commission — 2024-03-06

The March 6, 2024 Planning Commission work session concentrated on proposed zoning map amendments: multiple parcels (including 103–107 North Liberty St, 209 Broadway, 202 W Water St, the entirety of Pennsylvania Avenue, 210 E Water St, 211–401 E Water St north side, and 405–545 Railroad Ave north side) were identified to be designated Central Business District (CBD); PRA(C-1) will be removed from the map, Ridgeview Court will remain PRA(R-3), and Renaissance Chase apartments at 303 Queen Anne Circle will be designated R-3. Review of the Planning & Zoning Commission bylaws was postponed, a Council member reported an upcoming annexation application for the northern half of growth area four, and future meetings were noted (March 20 location TBD; next work session April 3).
