Town Council — 2021-06-03

At the June 3, 2021 Town Council meeting the Council approved the Fiscal Year 2022 budget (Ordinance 06-2021), adopted the May 20 minutes, held a public hearing on Ordinance 11-2020 to allow museums by right in the R-2 zoning district (the hearing had one speaker in favor and no opposition), and heard appearances and updates from local groups. Presenters included the Corsica River Conservancy, which discussed potential wetland mitigation credits at the Sandy Bottom property, comments on the Carter Farm development and preserving open/farmed land, and support for moving the wharf pump-out station; a written comment from Joseph Brown was read aloud and the Queen Anne’s County Historical Society requested a donation (item partially recorded).
