The March 3, 2022 Town Council meeting honored retiring police K9 Crush, accepted a $109,492 surplus check from the Local Government Insurance Trust, and unanimously approved replacing the roofs on the wastewater treatment plant office and pump house for $13,116.30. Council agreed to restart the Centreville Economic Development Authority (CEDA), noted a Carter Farm public information session scheduled for March 13, and received Town Manager updates on county road project plans, current energy pricing, potential VOIP phone and telework policy work, code enforcement counts, and retention challenges for Department of Public Works hires.
