Town Council — 2022-07-21

The July 21, 2022 Centreville Town Council meeting approved prior minutes, swore in Gene Magary to the Park Advisory Board, held a public hearing on Ordinance 07-2022 (a zoning text amendment to increase allowable convenience store size outside the CBD), heard mixed public comment and noted the Planning Commission’s 3–2 unfavorable recommendation, and the Council did not move to adopt the ordinance. The Council also introduced Resolution 04-2022 (HRA retiree stipend amendment) and Ordinance 10-2022 (code reference corrections), discussed contract lobbying services, and noted related sponsorships and follow-up corrections for the August meeting.
