Town Council — 2023-11-16

The Council met Nov. 16, 2023 (including a 6:17 p.m. closed session to discuss personnel and legal counsel with no actions taken), administered oaths to three board appointees, and approved Ordinance 07-2023 to amend the FY2023 budget (+$3,774 General Fund; +$283,230 Enterprise Fund) after holding a public hearing; the FY2023 audit was reported complete and perfect. The Council also addressed Little Kidwell Avenue safety and extension (no bids received for speed humps; agreed to pursue spring installation and related measures including a 15 mph school-hours limit, crosswalks, and a possible stop sign), voted to allow curbside parking on the YMCA side and the opposite side adjacent to an existing residential lot with no bike lanes, approved end-of-year employee gifts/bonus ($15 gift card, Dec. 8 breakfast, $100 holiday bonus) and rescheduled the Dec. 21 meeting to Dec. 14.
