The Feb. 1, 2024 Centreville Town Council meeting approved Resolution 03-2024 to raise the town flexible spending plan annual maximum to the IRS limit, adopted Resolution 04-2024 establishing a travel policy, approved Jan. 18 minutes, and received a FY2024 mid-year update that noted a move to Munibilling (with a customer portal) and a study of monthly billing. The Park Advisory Board presented its 2023 report with planned grants and projects at Wharf Park, Millstream Park and Pop Taylor Park (including an RFP for a Millstream master plan), Ordinance 01-2024 to purchase Map 44C, Parcel 1086 from the State Highway Administration was introduced with a public hearing set for March 7, the Council disclosed a Jan. 25 closed session on acquiring real property, and the Town Manager reported a conditional offer for Town Clerk and meetings regarding the wastewater treatment plant and stream discharge.
