The April 18, 2024 Centreville Town Council meeting approved April 4 minutes, swore in five volunteers (Martha Herman, Michael C. Whitehill, Jennifer Holdgreve, Kara Willis, and Kyle Farabaugh), and approved an Arbor Day proclamation. Council introduced Resolution 09-2024 (charter amendment to revise the Chief of Police reporting structure) to be heard May 2, Ordinance 03-2024 (update to the International Building and Residential Codes) with a May 16 public hearing, introduced Ordinance 04-2024 (FY25 budget) with noted fund transfers and line-item changes and ARPA guidance, and discussed Resolution 10-2024 to remove four parking spaces on the east side of Liberty Street with possible interim measures.
