Town Council — 2024-06-06

The Council approved the FY25 budget (Ordinance 04-2024), agreed to remove four parking spaces on the east side of Liberty Street (Resolution 10-2024), and authorized allocation of remaining ARPA funds totaling $2,584,660 with an MOU to Public Works to cover four contracted items and future public-works spending. They also approved Lawyers Row street closures for courthouse elm tree removal, set summer meeting dates, received a Drink Maryland event update, and referred the Providence at Centreville annexation (Resolution 14-2024 and related ordinances) to the Planning Commission with a public hearing set for September 5, 2024.
