The Centreville Town Council meeting (Sept. 5, 2024) approved the Aug. 1 minutes, voted to remove Ordinance 06-2024 from the consent agenda to Old Business, and held a closed session on personnel. Finance Officer Karen Luffman presented the new Neptune customer portal and announced the town will transition back to Accufund for utility billing; the council held a public hearing on Resolution 14-2024 to annex ~279.586 acres (Providence at Centreville) and Ordinance 05-2024 to rezone Map 44F Parcel 60 to the Traditional Neighborhood District (including a tax-abatement provision and a future annexation agreement), with a favorable Planning Commission recommendation and public notice in the Bay Times Record Observer.
