At the August 7, 2025 Town Council meeting, Council approved Ordinance 08-2025 (trailer regulations) and Ordinance 10-2025 (new Chapter 2 authorizing administrative search warrants), denied a request to close Coursevall Drive for a Family Fun Day while arranging police traffic control, and changed vendor payment processing to require a 48-hour Council review period before checks are processed. The Council also unanimously awarded Contract Amendment 4 to Whitman, Requardt & Associates for $2,446,672 for the Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrade design (backed by a $2,155,000 Congressional Directed Spending Grant with a 20% match of $431,000 to be budgeted in FY27) and scheduled a detailed WWTP work session for September 4, 2025 at 5:30 p.m.
